ESSIC Assistant Research Scientist, Maria Tzortziou was invited to participate in NASA’s next GEO-CAPE Science Team Meeting to present results from her studies on atmosphere-ocean interactions in urban estuarine environments. Tzortziou will also lead an ocean discipline session topic, present in the plenary session, and provide an overview of the 2011 NASA Chesapeake Bay field campaign where she served as co-chief scientist. The next GEO-CAPE Science Team Meeting will be held at NASA Ames, California, during 21-23 May 2013.
