ESSIC Assistant Research Scientist, Maria Tzortziou and colleagues at UMD (Chris Loughner), NASA (Jay Herman, Alexander Cede and Nader Abuhassan), and Tzortziou’s undergraduate intern Sheenali Naik (UMD, Environmental Science and Policy Department), published an article in the Journal of Atmospheric Chemistry Special Issue PINESAP, DISCOVER-AQ entitled “Spatial and temporal variability of ozone and nitrogen dioxide over a major urban estuarine ecosystem.” Tzortziou contributed this piece following her participation in NASA’s DISCOVER-AQ and CBDOAQ airborne and oceanographic field campaigns.
