Miralles-Wilhelm a co-author of sixth Everglades Restoration Plan Review

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicines Committee on Independent Scientific Review of Everglades Restoration Progress (CISRERP), announced the prepublication of the sixth iteration review of the U.S. Congress authorized Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP).

Entitled, “Progress Toward Restoring the Everglades: The Sixth Biennial Review – 2016,” the report–as described by the CISRERP committee chair–was authored by a diverse mixture of science and engineering specialists, with unique expertise in area such as environmental, biological, hydrologic, and geographic sciences; systems engineering; law; economics; project and program administration; and public policy.  ESSIC Interim Director, Professor Fernando Miralles-Wilhelm is 1 of 14 participating CISRERP committee-members and a co-author of the recently completed review.
