ESSIC / AOSC Professor Zhanqing Li has been announced to the American Meteorological Society’s (AMS) class of 2017 fellows. AMS fellows are nominated by colleagues based on their contributions to the atmospheric or other related sciences. Li, who has been an ESSIC / AOSC professor since 2001, also has Fellow appointments in the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and the American Geophysical Union (AGU).
