ESSIC research assistant professor Melissa Kenney will be a participant in the pending national Earth Observations Assessment (EOA 2016), performed by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) through the U.S. Group on Earth Observations Subcommittee of the Committee on Environment, Natural Resources, and Sustainability. The assessment, which responds to a congressional request, aims to provide an evaluation of the Nation’s current Earth-observing systems, including climate. Kenney was a lead author in the 2014 National Climate Assessment section focusing on decision support.
