Liza Goldberg, 19-year-old ESSIC and NASA student research assistant, recently made an appearance on the Today Show, which highlighted her work on “Cloud to Classroom”, a platform to get NASA data into classrooms.

Cloud to Classroom uses satellite imagery to help K-12 classrooms understand global environmental change through remote sensing. Goldberg and her team are developing these products using Google Earth Engine tools and was funded partially through the 2020 National Geographic Young Explorers Grant.
