Sinead Farrell was recently selected to serve as a science PI on the NASA ICESat-2 Science Definition Team. The Ice, Cloud, and Land Elevation Satellite-2 (ICESat-2) is the 2nd-generation of Earth-orbiting laser altimeter, which is scheduled for launch in early 2016 and will quantify changes in the Earth’s polar regions.
