ESSIC Assistant Research Scientist Sinead L. Farrell attended the American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting, 9-13 Dec., 2013, in San Francisco, CA. Farrell delivered an invited presentation entitled: “A Decade of Arctic Sea Ice Thickness Change from Airborne and Satellite altimetry”. Farrell delivered updates on behalf of the NASA Operation IceBridge Sea Ice Science Team, at the NASA Operation IceBridgeTown Hall Meeting. Farrell co-chaired three sessions on “Monitoring Changes in Polar Ice Sheets and Sea Ice Using Airborne and Satellite Remote Sensing” (Sessions C51A, C53D, C54A) on behalf of Jackie Richter-Menge (CRREL).
