ESSIC/CICS hosted a meeting of the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) Cooperative Institute Directors and Administrators at their new M-Square Building on June 17th-19th to discuss topics of mutual interest to the Cooperate Institutes (CIs) and NOAA. The meeting was attended by representatives from each of the NESDIS CIs (located in Oregon, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin), and the National Climatic Data Center in North Carolina, local staff from NOAA/NESDIS and the NOAA Grants Management Division. The meeting included briefings for the attendees on guidance and policy updates that directly impact the research and administrative process of each of the CIs, including the NOAA CI review procedures. These workshops are held annually and rotate among the Cooperative Institutes.
