Tony Busalacchi participated in a "Meet Global Change Scientists" booth at the Planet Under Pressure Conference, London, England, March 26-29. Scientists from different disciplines visited thebooth to discuss their work, answer questions, and share information ontheir major projects. Each day up to five scientists shared their expertise. Busalacchi, who is Chair of the UM Council on the Environment, addressed the Sandia National Laboratory, Albuquerque, NM, as part of their Climate Change and National Security Speakers Series. He spoke at length regarding the U.S. Navy's first-hand knowledge and experience with climate alterations, as well as the strategic and National Security implications of global climate change.
