As a part of American Geophysical Union’s 2021 Annual Meeting, AGU hosted a contest in which scientists submitted photos and videos depicting their science without actually saying what science they study. One of the finalists of this contest was Daile Zhang, ESSIC/CISESS Post-doctoral Associate. Zhang’s video, above, is being displayed at AGU Central in Hall B1 at this year’s Fall Meeting, on AGU’s social media channels, and as part of the #AGU21: Guess the Science Contest, beginning this week.
People who correctly guessed the scientific section of all 10 photos and videos and submitted their completed form by 12 Noon CST (1 PM EST) on 16 December, were entered into a drawing to win one of two free registrations to #AGU22.
Zhang is a postdoctoral associate at ESSIC, focusing on evaluating and assessing space-based lightning sensors such as the GLM.
